The last two weeks has been up and down. We were hopeful for some news this week. Another date that was given to us has come and gone. Three waiting mothers accompanied by Tom from JCICS spent 1-2 weeks meeting with some high ranking officials in Kyrgyzstan. They met with everyone and anyone who would give them an audience. We were told every meeting was about the same. Everyone wanted to see our waiting kids united. But yet everyone has their hands tied. Powerless to make a change. So... as soon as we regroup from yet another delay we will move on to the next phase. Operation Secretery of State Hilary Clinton. More on that as it develops.
While Suzanne, Lisa, Teresa, and Tom were in Kyrgyzstan they also had the chance to meet EVERY one of our waiting kids. They threw parties big and small for each individual groupa, at each orphanage they visited. One larger Bday party was thrown for one of the children in Noodle's group. So a wonderful party complete with cake, and gifts was had by all. Oh how I wish I could have been there. The good news is we have new photos. Bittersweet. It appears that Miss Noodle is still very tiny. Maybe she has not grown out of some of those girlie clothes hanging in her closet after all? yet again... snippets of photos... Thanks Suzanne, Lisa, Teresa, Tom, S and K for hugging and kissing our little miss.
